Conference and Celebration
March 23-25, 2007
Radisson Paper Valley Hotel, Appleton, WI

At the Northern Province Synod in June, re-elected president, Rev. David
Wickmann said, "I believe we have been called by Christ to make an impact in
our local communities and our municipalities.  Leadership is the key element in
this process, leadership that is able to gather the diverse constituencies and
can galvanize the Church into action."

With these thoughts in mind, the Western District Anniversary Planning
Committee designed a Moravian 550th Anniversary Conference and
Celebration that  honors  the past and is dedicated to the future ministry of the
Church.  Featured speaker and conference leader was Glenn McDonald,
senior pastor of Zionsville Presbyterian Church in suburban Indianapolis and
author of
The Disciple-Making Church: From Dry Bones to Spiritual Vitality.
