Youth Group meetings 3rd Wednesdays
The youth have two meetings left this summer. The meetings will start at 5 p.m. and will be game/activity time together, probably outside if the temperature is not too hot or the air too sticky. Then the youth will attend worship together at 6:30 p.m. If you have any questions, call Ms. Stacy Wickert (261-0241.) Meeting dates are:

Vacation Bible School
All hands on deck! This summer we're setting sail on a High Seas Adventure. We will dive into God's word and experience the deep rolling waters of God's love. Please consider purchasing or perhaps we can borrow items for our week long adventure. Check out the VBS board in the Chapel Area. "Help us fill our hold and make ready to sail." 2010 Camp Dates
The dates for Western District Camps which meet at Mt. Morris have been set. They are: *Junior Camp for those who have completed 3rd – 5th grade: June 28- July 2 *Chetek Camp for those who have completed 9th grade thru age 21: July 18-24 *Winmor Camp for those who have completed 6th – 8th grade: July 25-31 *4M Camp (Mini Moravian at Mt. Morris) for those who have completed 1st – 2nd grade: August 16-18
Please make note of the dates on your 2010 calendar. Registration information can be found online by searching for Moravian Church Western District, then on left side bar click camping ministry, then top option, camps in WI and MN, then Camps held at Mt. Morris, finally find camp that you wish to register for then click it and follow the registration form. Health forms and other information will come after you have registered. After registration, you must inform the church office of the camp attending in order for the camp scholarship to be paid.

Moravian Cruise
Moravian Church of Downey, CA, are sponsors of a Moravian Cruise on October 31-November 7, 2010. The Caribbean Princess ship embarks from San Juan, Puerto Rico, and is scheduled four stops in St. Thomas (US Virgin Islands), Tortola (British Virgin Islands), Antigua, St. Lucia, and Barbados on this Classic Southern Caribbean cruise. Staterooms start from $619 per person double occupancy, plus taxes and fees. There will be organized Moravian tours on four of the six islands. The cost for the Moravian tour package is $250, payable to the Moravian Church of Downey and mailed to 10337 Old River School Rd., Downey, CA 90241-2057. Bishop Hopeton Clennon, Chaplian of Moravian College and Theological Seminary, will be the tour guide. Registration deadline is June 28, 2010. Moravian Music on the Mountain
There will be a “mini-music festival at Laurel Ridge Camp, Conference and Retreat Center in North Carolina. As part of Laurel Ridge’s 50th anniversary year, there will be choral and band workshops, fellowship, and worship with the Mountain Laurel Moravian Fellowship on Friday, November 12th - Sunday, November 14th.

Youth Adult Convocation (Convo)
The next Young Adult Convo is to the Holy Land from December 28, 2010, through January 6, 2011. Those who have completed high school through age 25 are invited to attend.
